Father Padilla Park has play playground for the kids, picnic tables and a large gazebo.  This park is located  next to the
City Pool and Father Padilla Pond.  Father Padilla Pond is a great place for the kids to go fishing while the adults enjoy
getting exercise on walking trail around the pond.

HERINGTON LAKE & RESEVOIR
Just head West one mile from Herington and you'll find the Herington Lake and the Herington Resevoir.   The
campgrounds at the Herington Lake have electric camping facilities or just come to the lake for the day and
enjoy the fishing or boating.  The Herington Lake also has a swimming area for cooling off during the hot
